videoImpressive Wine Shelves of Commercial Wine Cellar: Bottle Sectioning and Seasonal Rotating Sections
Check out the video and this link below to learn more about City Vineyard’s commercial wine rack display. https://www.winecellarspec.com/customers-glowing-about-modern-commercial-wine-cellar-city-vineyard/ In any commercial wine cellar, strategic bottle sectioning and display is very important, and the impressive commercial wine rack display of City Vineyard is a perfect example. City Vineyard’s bottle sectioning is divided into two: the permanent and seasonal wine shelves. Wines that are popular all year round, such as Chardonnay, are placed in permanent sections. On the other hand, seasonal bottles such as Rose and Washington wines are placed in the rotating sections. _______________________________ Wine Cellar Specialists 1134 Commerce Drive, Richardson, TX +1 (972) 454-0480 www.winecellarspec.com

podcast· 57:30· Ep 48Can Agriculture Be Sustainable While Keeping the World Fed?
Agriculture is the world’s second-largest emitter of greenhouse gases, second only to the energy sector. It’s also a leading driver of biodiversity loss. But without agriculture, we die. How can these facts possibly be reconciled? Some argue that agriculture needs to be pursued more intensively on less land; for others, less intensive agroecology is the only sustainable approach. Unfortunately, given the urgency of the question, policymakers have failed to find a consensus. This is partly because the two models are based on assumptions that are rarely examined and depend on whether you believe that demand shapes supply, or supply shapes demand. But what does the evidence say? And is there an ideal solution? And if there is, what does it mean for viticulture? In this episode, Pauline Vicard meets Professor Tim Benton who leads the Environment and Society Programme at Chatham House. His research covers food and environment interactions, food policy, and trade and geopolitics, and his lat

The post SV#137: Vinhos da Alemanha (parte 1) appeared first on Simples Vinho .

podcast· 1h 46m· S4E11Heritage Varietals - Sauv. Blanc Part 1 - Livermore Valley
We are back with another round o tasting with a few of my favorite local wine lovers. We get back to some basics and go over a bit of the local news. Followed by jumping right back into a semi-blind tasting of 4 Sauvignon Blancs moderated by SVC. Only to be followed up by one more pass through 4 more Sauv. Blancs. The Livermore Valley is one, if not the oldest wine-growing region in America. And even though our roots are written all over the industry today, why haven't we been recognized by the greater market and industry as a region worth investing time, money, and interest in? There are a few theories out there, but for us here on TTG, we can help but think it has a lot to do with our varietal identity or lack thereof. Over the last few years, the Livermore Valley Wine Growers and various industry leaders have seriously considered both Sauvignon Blanc & Cabernet Franc as our regional identity. We are all about the hype, so we put the theory to the test and brought in 8 SBs from

The Marys have a new friend in wine! Join us for an engaging conversation with the woman who just doesn't know how to stop! Sip Sip Hooray to that! Are you ready to meet the tour de force that is Iris Rideau? From a young age she always had the determination to make hers and the lives of others better. Iris' life is one of many first and of breaking multiple glass ceilings. Her illustrious career began in the front office of a Los Angeles insurance company, and from there she paved the way to being a leader in not just insurance, but in finance, politics and wine. Her life in wine began when she was a mere seven years old, even though she didn't realize it at the time. How fitting that Iris became the first Black woman to own a winery in the United States, Rideau Vineyard in California's Santa Ynez Valley of Santa Barbara wine country. However, it was a long journey from growing up Creole in New Orleans, with Jim Crow segregation in full swing, to becoming a legendary business leader.
