Croft Pink Port Cocktails to Shake Up Your Summer
When it comes to Croft Pink Port, erase any ideas you have about Port in your mind. Typically, people associate Port with the wintertime and heavier, more full-bodied drinking. Croft Pink Port is here to change that notion completely. This is a vibrant pink fruity explosion in the best way. Personally, I would compare it to an Aperol […] The post Croft Pink Port Cocktails to Shake Up Your Summer appeared first on Wine 365 .

Irish Stout Hot Wings Recipe
Irish Stout Hot Wings One of the things I like best in the world is good Buffalo hot sauce. Something with serious kick, but also well-rounded flavor – not simply burn for the sake of burning. Last year, I experienced some of the best Buffalo wings of my life (and vegetarian ones at that!) and since then, I've made it my mission to perfect a blend of elements, and create my ideal wing sauce. After months of experimentation, I finally nailed it. One of the key elements that was eluding me until now was using a bit of stout to round out the flavor, and add the depth and richness to offset the pure heat of the pepper. Irish Stout Hot Wings Recipe Ingredients Illustration by Em Sauter 10 oz. red pepper hot sauce (2 small bottles. My preferred brand is Scoville Food Institute.) 6 oz. or 1/2 bottle Irish stout 1 tbsp dried minced onion 1 tbsp garlic powder 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp white pepper 1 tsp smoked paprika 2 tbsp c

Drink of the Week: Devil’s Grin Gin Bramble
Our Drink of the Week is the Devil’s Grin Gin Bramble, a modern cocktail that layers fresh citrus with dark berry flavor, finishing with a dramatic pour. Why We Love It: Adding the blackberry liqueur last keeps the drink balanced and prevents it from tasting overly sweet. Plus, it looks incredible. Nonalcoholic Cocktails Need Texture
In a recent story for AlcoholProfessor I wrote about John deBary’s latest book on nonalcoholic cocktails and the tricks he uses to improve the NA spirits you can buy off the shelf, mostly with the addition of boosting botanicals and/or intense tea infusions. I’m a big fan of deBary’s work in the category. Read the […] The post Nonalcoholic Cocktails Need Texture first appeared on Alcademics .

This Port Cosmopolitan Recipe Gives the Classic Cosmo a Sophisticated Twist
While I absolutely love a classic Cosmopolitan, I recently discovered that adding a splash of Ruby Port can really take it up a notch.
