Acústic Celler – Blanc 2024
With the free fall in the wine world which may or may not be stabilizing despite all of us who love wine doing our part to drink it, producers are still trying to figure out wtf to do. And it seems that one of the main solution is… “Make white wine!” Much like I told my mother in regards to ‘investing’ in cryptocurrency, if you’re not already making white wine, then you’re too late to the game and the last thing we need is a white wine glut. There are […] For full access, please log in or purchase a subscription.

For my first video of 2026, I am « investigating » here about what could be my favorite whiskies of the year 2025 for an upcoming video...Therefore, I will uncork 2 bottles new in my collection, and pre-review 2 others, both being 2025 releases. I will give you my first impressions about them, and, when necessary, do some comparisons with other releases from the same companies (I say here companies as 1 one the 4 is a independent bottling of a blended malt), so it will be a 7 whiskies review. videoEveryone told him Oregon wine was impossible
In 1965, they said Oregon was too cold and wet for wine. Today, the Willamette Valley makes some of the greatest Pinot Noir on earth. Here is the formula. What questions does this video answer? Why is Pinot Noir so notoriously difficult to grow? How do the Coast Range and the Cascades create the "Oregon Formula"? What is the difference between Jory volcanic soil, marine sediment, and basalt? Why do Dundee Hills, Yamhill-Carlton, and Eola-Amity taste completely different? Who was David Lett, and how did his 1965 gamble prove critics wrong? About This Video: Oregon makes world-class wine for the exact reason Pinot Noir is so difficult to grow anywhere else: it needs limits. In the Willamette Valley, nature creates the ultimate balance. The Coast Range blocks the harshest Pacific storms, while the Cascade Mountains trap a long, cool growing season—warm sunny days to ripen the fruit, and cold desert-like nights that keep electric natural acidity alive. The valley’s true secret lies

April Fool
I couldn't let April Fool's Day (admittedly yesterday) go by without posting this clip from a television programme back in 1957. It was aired on a programme called Panorama - which still exists today - and covers all manner of topics but always serious and political. This particular item was broadcast on 1 April 1957. The date should have given a clue to its authenticity, but so many people believed it was true. I suppose in those days, pasta was a relatively new concept to us Britons and the BBC was a highly revered institution that couldn't possibly be telling untruths.
