Angostura Grand Reserve 1919
Introduction For me Angostura Grand Reserve 1919 occupies a strange, empty space in the rum market. To the uninitiated, it’s a Premium rum from Trinidad and Tobago. It’s a fixture on quite a few “luxury” backbars the world over. It is one of the few Caribbean rum producers that are omnipresent on the world market... American Wild Ale – Jar of Destiny
As the Jar of Destiny challenge continues, Mike presents his take on an American Wild Ale. This beer came from the 18th pick in the series. An American Wild Ale usually takes […] The post American Wild Ale – Jar of Destiny appeared first on Brew Dudes .

Penelope Blackberry Old Fashioned
I’d like to thanks the folks at Penelope Bourbon and their PR team for sending this sample with no strings attached. Hello my friends! It is time for a bonus post. I was planning to do this yesterday. I always do bonus posts on Friday, but I just plum forgot. Tonight’s subject is actually something I didn’t plan to review. It was sent along to me by mistake as I had already turned down the sample thinking that you folks might find it a bit outside the norm for the focus of the site. Just the Sip: Russell’s Reserve Single Rickhouse CN-E Review
We’re jumping around the timeline a bit with this review. The last time I covered the Single Rickhouse line was with the inaugural Camp Nelson C release, a whiskey that I thought was borderline great, but nowhere near worth its asking price. In a way, Single Rickhouse is a spiritual successor to the lauded Russell’s […]
