How is Ridge Vineyards adapting to California’s warming climate?

In this Sustainable Wine Roundtable podcast Tom Owtram speaks with David Gates, Senior VP of Vineyard Operations at Ridge Vineyards in California. Ridge Vineyards is the largest grower of organically certified grapes in Sonoma County and in the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation. De oude kasteelmuren staan er nog en doen dienst als handige wegwijzer (“het kasteel door en dan naar links”) tijdens mijn persreis aan Soave . Soave is namelijk meer dan alleen een idyllisch dorpje, het maakt ook één van de beste witte wijnen van Italie. Did I really say that? Yes, I did! Jammer genoeg is de wijnwetgeving ondoorgrondelijk.
