podcast· 34:55· Ep 8484. Best interview of 2023.
We have been interviewed on many podcasts throughout the year, but this one stands out as a favourite. We spoke to Regan and Allie from the Wanderlusting Wives podcast and we had so much fun. Lyle of course likes to tell all the horror stories and I like to share the nice ones. We talk about man-eating giant jumping crocodiles, becoming an honorary Tuna band member in Spain to the most romantic and idyllic wine drinking spot in Tuscany as well as our run in with a Sniper in Florence, plus heaps more. We had the girls gaping at our stories, laughing at some of our tales and just being blown away by the places we share and things we have done. I’m not sure we gave them much time to ask questions – but in the end it was a great interview full of great travel stories. So please enjoy our fun chat with the Wanderlusting Wives and if you enjoy this podcast you can find more of the girls on all the podcast platforms or their website www.wanderlustingwives.com or click here w ww.beachtravelwin
podcast· 57:02· Ep 128#128 Vintage Champagne

RNV 108: Bricoleur Vineyards | Mark Hanson
During this episode of ROCKnVINO, hosts Coco and Michelle talk with Mark Hanson, co-founder and CEO of Bricoleur Vineyards. Mark is a Santa Rosa native and his wife Beth is the great granddaughter of Pietro Carlo Rossi, the original oenologist at Sonoma County’s historic Italian Swiss Colony. As such, both had a strong connection to Sonoma County, and after "retiring" they decided to start their own winery in Windsor. The location had an old horse barn on site which has since been transformed into a beautiful tasting room and event space. The name Bricoleur is French and it reflects the spirit of flying by the seat of your pants. At Bricoleur Vineyards you can experience wine and food together in a variety of ways, including the Soaring and Rooted tastings, live music concerts, corporate events, wine club events, cooking classes, and even a cruise along the Seine from Normandy to Paris with Bricoleur! In fact, this Saturday, you can attend An Evening with Patrick Davis & His Midnight C
podcast· 58:05· S1E4GLOUGLOU #4 : Antoine Vignac

podcast· 50:36· S1E39Episode 39 - The Lincoln Highway and Serving No Italian Wine Before Its Time
In 1954, Emmett Watson is rounded up from juvenile detention to take custody of his 8 year old kid brother, Billy, when their dad unexpectedly dies. Two ne’er-do-well juvenile delinquents, Dutchess and Wooly, hide in the trunk and make their escape too. One car and three different ideas of where they should head make for trouble, and Emmett and Billy soon find themselves without their only possession, Emmett’s car. While this story is only ten days long, they cover most of the country, from the midwest to New York City where they get on the very start of the Lincoln Highway that will carry them all the way to San Francisco, which was Billy’s dream all along. Most of these characters are flawed and selfish, but they all come together for one beautiful meal Dutchess cooks for them before they part ways. Sometimes life is like that - you cross paths for a short, difficult time and nobody comes away unchanged. We are drinking wine from the region of Campania that would pair wonderfully wit

podcast· 59:16· Ep 502Friends of the Pod Series -- Ep 502: Stu Smith of Smith-Madrone -- Why Napa County is Strangling Small Wineries
This is a baffling story that includes a Napa history lesson, an idea of how the Valley has grown and then a jaunt into intrigue, sting operations, and what appears to be an effort to kill the goose that laid the golden egg by the Napa County government. It seems that the County is going after small wineries in an attempt to bankrupt them out of business. Friend of the pod, Stu Smith of Smith-Madrone joins to discuss and explain the situation -- at least the parts that have an explanation! If you want background on Smith-Madrone, check out...
