videoThis Tiny Vineyard Sits Beneath Germany’s Most Dramatic Rock Face
Wine with Jimmy here in the Nahe, standing beneath the dramatic Rotenfels near Traisen — the tallest rock face north of the Alps and one of the region’s most striking geological landmarks. In this video, I introduce the tiny Traisener Bastei vineyard, one of Germany’s smallest officially registered vineyard sites at just 1.4 hectares. Sheltered beneath the imposing Rotenfels and planted on steep terraces, this site is known for producing opulent, complex Rieslings from volcanic rhyolite soils. A

Wine Library TV - The Strawberry Wine Secret Q: How do you learn about wine and identify "red fruit" tasting notes? A: The absolute best way to learn about wine is to actively train your palate by tasting everyday fruits, specifically bright red berries like strawberries.
