The kind of place where the drinks demand your attention, the bartenders move with purpose, and the room feels alive. We’ve been to The Wolves before. More than once. But this time, TBDE teamed up with our friends at 1921 Tequila @casa1921usa to take a closer look at one of the most inventive cocktail programs in LA. The menu is a fever dream curated by Nathan McCullough — aka @ supercreativereallyniceguy …yes, that’s his handle, and honestly, it tracks. Part artist, part technician, Nathan’s the kind of bartender who doesn’t just mix drinks—he engineers flavors with precision and a little mischief. videoWine Review: 2025 Le Pin, Pomerol | En Primeur
▶️ Learn more about this wine and past vintages: https://www.wine-searcher.com/find/le+pin+pomerol+bordeaux+france?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=enprimeurdcmw David is excited to review an En-Primeur sample of the 2025 Le Pin, one of the most famous wines of Pomerol. The wine is 100% Merlot with 4% Cabernet Franc. He describes aromas showing a ”beautiful essence of red and black fruit” and a palate which is a “sensual experience”. David scores the wine at 98/100, possibly conservatively. Le Pin is a tiny 2.7-hectare (6-acre) property in the Pomerol district of Bordeaux. It was created in 1979 by the Thienpont family (owners of nearby Vieux Château Certan) and quickly rose to prominence to vie for the title of most expensive wine in the world. The 100 percent Merlot wine is extremely concentrated and lush; it can often be drunk young but is best with a decade of aging. The Le Pin vineyard is south-facing and sits on well-drained gravel and sand soils which

▶️ Learn more about this wine and past vintages: https://www.wine-searcher.com/find/trotanoy+pomerol+bordeaux+france?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=enprimeurdcmw David reviews an En-Primeur sample of the 2025 Pomerol Château Trotanoy. The wine is 96% Merlot with 4% Cabernet Franc. He describes it an “incredible fruit bomb” balanced by “lovely fresh acidity”. David scores the wine at 96-98/100. Château Trotanoy is located on the western side of the Pomerol plateau, not far from Pétrus and Lafleur, and covers 7.2 hectares (17.8 acres). It has been owned by négociant JP Moueix since 1953. According to Moueix the vineyard is planted entirely with Merlot, having previously featured a little Cabernet Franc. The wines still tend to include a small component of the latter. In the 18th Century, the estate was known as Trop Ennuie, or "Too Annoying", due to the poor, hard-to-work nature of the soils here. These are made up of clay with deposits of gravel and iron, and a
