Vinitaly 2026: Wine Tourism and Market Diversification as Strategic Growth Engines for Italian WineVinitaly 2026: Wine Tourism and Market Diversification as Strategic Growth Engines for Italian Wine
At the opening of the 58th edition of Vinitaly in Verona, a clear strategic narrative emerged: the future growth of the Italian wine sector will be driven not solely by export expansion, but increasingly by wine tourism development and the diversification of international markets. Italy’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, emphasized: “Wine is the […] The post Vinitaly 2026: Wine Tourism and Market Diversification as Strategic Growth Engines for Italian WineVinitaly 2026: Wine Tourism and Market Diversification as Strategic Growth Engines for Italian Wine appeared first on Liz Palmer .

Too many people think it means overripe, heavy, high-alcohol wine with too much oak and not enough balance. This wine destroys that stereotype. The Stirm Wine Company Old Vine Zinfandel comes from the historic Cienega Valley, one of California’s oldest and most important heritage vineyard regions, located along the San Andreas Fault east of Monterey. This area has been producing exceptional old vine fruit for generations, but only recently have small producers started bottling these vineyards seriously. And that’s where Ryan Stirm comes in. podcast· 27:59215: Client Success - Creating Mental Freedom With Moira
Today’s episode is a little different. I’m joined by one of my clients, Moira, now a graduate of my 1:1 coaching programme. Listen in as we talk about what it’s really like to be successful on paper but quietly exhausted by the mental battle around drinking. We cover how alcohol became a release valve, why Dry January and periods of abstinence never quite solved it, and the moment Moira realised the problem wasn’t the alcohol itself but the constant thinking about it. You’ll hear Moira’s honest views on abstinence language, moderation rules, and why neither felt right for her. We talk about planning, discomfort, boredom, and how creating space changed everything. Not just her relationship with alcohol, but how she feels in her life. This episode is for anyone wondering, will this work for me, and is it worth it. If you’re looking for mental freedom and a personalised approach, tune in. And if you want support creating this for yourself, it starts with booking a free consultation call w

podcast· 50:20· S1E223This Ain't Chianti: Is Italian Sangiovese Better Outside Tuscany?
Sangiovese is the classic example of how a wine can taste completely different depending on where it is from and how it is made, and this episode demonstrates that fact in spades. Sangiovese is one of the great Italian wine grapes, but because of its strong association with the wine Chianti, it has a bit of a mixed reputation. In its defense, Chianti is really a food wine which is where its acidity really shines. But Sangiovese itself is an amazing wine grape that can vary from light and fruity like a Gamay to velvety and smooth like a Merlot. On that note, it may surprise you to know that about half of all of the Sangiovese grown in Italy is not grown in Tuscany, and regions like Puglia, Emilia-Romagna and Marche are making fantastic versions of it. In this episode, we taste and review two wines made from 100% Sangiovese from Umbria and tiny Molise, and without spoiling it too much, we can tell you that they are very different wines, almost hard to tell they are from the same grape, a
