Pour Provence Rosé and Let the Celebration Begin
Decades ago, I spent a summer in Paris between my junior and senior years in college. As I immersed myself in French culture from sun-up to sundown, my love for travel was solidified as was my new-found adoration of good wine paired with food. A particularly fond memory of that summer was the annual Bastille […] READ MORE The post Pour Provence Rosé and Let the Celebration Begin appeared first on Grape Experiences.

🎧WTF is Verdejo?
If you are stuck in a Sauvignon Blanc rut, then Verdejo is here to come to your rescue. This great white wine from Rueda Spain is very similar to Sauvignon Blanc, in fact it is sometimes called the “love child” between Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio, and it combines many of the wonderful tropical fruit and citrus smells and flavors of Sauv Blanc with just a bit more mouthfeel. This is a lovely wine from Spain’s most important white wine region. Verdejo is a fantastic summer wine, great for sipping outdoors, and awesome with fish and shellfish, fried and salty foods, as well as chicken and charcuterie. It still flies a little under the radar, which is why now is the perfect time to be the one to introduce Verdejo to your family and friends and be considered the cool kid dropping wine knowledge! Wines reviewed in this episode: 2024 Marques de Riscal Rueda Verdejo, 2024 Bodegas Vatan Nisia Old Vines Verdejo Send us a Text Message and we'll respond in our next episode! Contact The Wine P

How Graham Norton built a 20m bottle wine brand success story
Long before many of his A list Hollywood movie star guests thought it would be a good idea to have their own drinks brand Graham Norton, king of the UK chat shows, first put his name to a range of wines that have gone on to sell close to 20 million bottles in 40 countries around the world. But he does a lot more than simply endorse the wines, he helps to make them - well blend them at least in a partnership with New Zealand producers, Invivo Wines , that goes back 15 years. Norton was in London recently with Invivo’s co-founders, Rob Cameron and Tim Lightbourne, to help blend the 2026 vintage and explain just what goes into making a Graham Norton wine at a press event to help launch and introduce the new wines to the UK - and international - wine market.
