Untappd Owners Only Take, Never Give
This week Untappd announced they are shutting off the DM feature. Too many spammer DMs they had to wrangle, so they didn’t want to mess with it anymore. Which, whatever, it’s fine. I will miss it, though, because plenty of listeners of the Perfect Pour would message me about the show or something related. But it’s not … Continue reading Untappd Owners Only Take, Never Give → The post Untappd Owners Only Take, Never Give appeared first on Mikey Top Pour .

Tony Lombardi from Lombardi Wines
Tony Lombardi from Lombardi Wines is our guest on California Wine Country with Dan Berger and Daedalus Howell. This is his first time on the show. The winery is located in the Petaluma Gap, which we have described in many recent episodes. This episode from 2018 is about the 3rd anniversary of the Petaluma Gap AVA, We start with Chardonnay, which Dan says is in the mold of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti , which is an estate in Burgundy, in the Côte d’Or region in east-central France. They produce red and white wines of distinction. If you visit DRC, as it is known, they serve the reds first, then the whites. They believe in the richness and the full-bodied character of Le Montrachet. Dan says that this wine from Lombardi wines has that character which makes it an exciting wine. California Wine Country is brought to you by Deodora Estate Vineyards. Visit Deodora to discover 72 acres in the Petaluma Gap that produce exceptional Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Riesling. Sip the difference! The Lom

podcast· 12:22045 Think Less to Drink Less- How to Change Your Relationship with Alcohol Quickly
In today’s episode, I’m diving into a truth that took me years to understand: 👉 When you think less, you drink less. Not because you suddenly gain more willpower… but because you stop getting trapped in the mental loops that keep you reaching for a glass. I talk about how our brains fire off thousands of thoughts a day — and how those thoughts create emotions, and those emotions drive what we do next. Same situation, totally different reactions, depending on the thoughts we attach to it. This is why two women can have the same day… but only one ends up pouring wine at 5pm. I share how my own perspective has shifted over the years. Thought work helped me — but it wasn’t the whole picture. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is not chase the thought at all. Let it pass. Let it be. Let your body regulate before your mind spirals. I invite you to imagine your thoughts like clouds drifting across the sky. You don’t have to climb on every cloud. You don’t have to argue with them. Y

videoBeer Roadshow Series: In the Land of Foam and Patience
Step into the world of Czech lager, where patience, tradition and technical precision shape every glass. In the Czech Republic, lager brewing is defined by long, cold maturation. This extended process allows flavours to develop slowly, producing beers that are balanced, refreshing and remarkably smooth. Rather than chasing speed or novelty, Czech brewers focus on consistency, freshness and harmony. But the story does not end in the brewery. In Czech beer culture, serving beer is treated as a cra
