podcast· 17:06216. Feeling Dread
Today we’re talking about dread. That heavy, uncomfortable feeling that shows up when you’re trying to drink less, do something differently, or step out of an old habit. In this episode, I explain why dread doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong, and why waiting to feel confident or calm first is often the very thing keeping you stuck. You’ll learn how to befriend emotions like dread and still take action, whether that’s going to a social event, handling pressure to drink, or getting through an evening without defaulting to wine. This is about building authority over your emotional world, trusting yourself again, and realising you don’t need a different feeling to create a different result.
