videoHubinsky - Unique Slovakian Natural Wines
Farming 10 hectares of vines in the Little Carpathian mountains of the Bratislavia region of Slovakia, the brothers of Hubinsky inherited vines from their parents in 2004 and made their first vintage in 2008. The pair, David and younger brother Peter have been steadily moving more towards the natural wine movement, using less sulphur, if any and working in a more holistic approach in line with the lunar cycle. We find their wines to be extremely exciting, especially for the attractive prices. Fans of Riesling should not miss their Rizling Rynsky Hausberg, whilst wine nerds will be impressed with their Concrete Pyramid made with Grüner Veltliner. We also think their Devin is a SUPER INTERESTING expression, well worth trying and quite unusual.
videoStephane Tissot - Vin Jaune Pioneer from Jura
Stephane Tissot is a pioneer of making Vin Jaune in Jura. Of course, whilst we say pioneer, he did not invent the so-called "Yellow Wine" of the region which has been made for many centuries, BUT he was the first to identify and prove the power of Terroir on this oxidative wine technique. He has done this by making Vin Jaune wines on his specific plots of different soil types, which was previously not seen as that important in differentiating between the Vin Jaune characteristics. Most Vin Jaune producers will assemble all the plots they have from all different soil types into their production of Vin Jaune, and the importance of the barrels and cellar was given the focus. Stephane Tissot however, has showcases in his range of Vin Jaune the stark differences the soils from Trias and Lias create even with an oxidative style, which can be quite powerful. This is why he is a pioneer of Vin Jaiune, and in our mind and many others with his very low intervention methods to let the wines sh

videoPartida Creus - Natural Wine Legends
Partida Creus is one of the more iconic names in natural wine. Set up in Catalonia in Spain by the super-charming Italians Massimo Marchiori & Antonella Gerona in 2001, this famous natural winery is committed to reviving old vines of indigenous and lesser-known grape varieties. Patrida Creus is special in that unlike the locals in their direct area, Massimo and Antonella took a chance on old vines of regional grape varieties - meanwhile, their neighbours thought they were crazy to not tear them up in favour of growing more mainstream, profitable grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Their vineyards are mainly old, low-yielding vines of grape varieties that were long considered obsolete by other winegrowers in the area: Sumoll, Garrut, Trepat, Bobal, and Cartoixa among others. Whenever an opportunity arises, they buy or lease vineyards with such vines from neighboring winegrowers in order to farm them sustainably - they even accepted an abandoned plot of Bobal bush vines eve
videoOMG! You HAVE to visit this Paris market restaurant!!!
Wow! We knew Les Enfants du Marché would be good... but this good?!?! Seriously, not only is the food cooked here in this small market absolutely sensational, but the owner and host Michael Grosman is an absolute king of hospitality. Despite the thriving vibe, he somehow knows how to make every single guest feel 100% welcomed and a part of his universe, pouring sensational natural wines from glou glou smashers to rare Jura gems throughout the whole service, even with some old rarities to offer if you ask nice enough... One of the best natural wine & dining experiences we have ever had in Paris... and thats saying a lot considering how great the city is for both! Find it here, it's the stall next to his pal the The Butcher Of Paris. Marché des, 39 Rue de Bretagne, 75003 Paris Check opening times before going.

videoEmmanuel Houillon-Overnoy Wine in Jura
Emmanuel Houillon-Overnoy took over the domaine from his adoptive father Pierre Overnoy in 2000, but had been working alongside Pierre for many years beforehand. These special natural wines from Pupillin, just up the road from Arbois in Jura are extremely difficult to find, not just because of lower productions than most producers, but because these low intervention wines are notorious for being sold on the secondary market for inflated prices, due to the huge demand from wine collectors. Visiting Emmanuel, known locally as Manu, and of course Pierre Overnoy who founded the domaine, it's instantly obvious both of their lifestyles comes nowhere near the big Chateaux and Burgundy producers whose wines sell on auction sites for similar high amounts, and we don't feel they would want to have such a money-orientated position either. Both of these talented winemakers are incredibly humble, and genuinely passionate about the natural wine they produce. They have not only made a great name
