STILL English wine - Davenport Redmoors Pinot Noir 2022

Another still red English Pinot Noir from Davenport. In the woods again, but this time it's even darker! This video is, videographically speaking, a trainwreck - the lighting conditions were awful, and I seem to have managed to break another lav mic, so I had to fall back to the internal microphone on my camera. Which isn't great, but I attempted to remove some of the background noise during editing. So the video both looks and sounds bad, and the wine isn't strictly relevant to the channel, not to mention the channel is already an incredibly niche interest. Another still red English wine! This is one I have often enjoyed in its youth, but I had one last bottle I had been aging, and after 7 years I decided it was finally time to open it and see how it had changed.

STILL English Wine - Gusbourne Pinot Noir 2020 - after five years of aging

Revisiting this wine now it has had about 5 years of aging (or at least it's about 5 years since harvest). Has it improved?

East Meon Berygarden 2020

I was excited to hear about a new vintage released from East Meon vineyard in Hampshire, which has to be one of the smallest English sparkling wine vineyards there is, at just one acre.

Langham Perpetual First Edition - £95! Is It worth it?

Langham's first (I think) "prestige cuvée" - which as far as I can tell is a category of English sparkling wine which just translates to costing at least 2 or 3 times the normal price of a bottle from that producer! In this case it's a hefty £94.95 price tag. Is it worth it? It's a blanc de blancs, and interestingly not a single vintage - this first edition is a blend of vintages from 2017-2019. Langham Pinot Noir 2019

Another wine from Langham in Dorset, and this one was awarded best Blanc de Noirs at the WineGB Awards 2025.
