Instead, salespeople must provide the Public Health Agency’s information sheet to visitors.” This is a somewhat unexpected […] Continue reading: Cellar-door sales in Sweden: compulsory lecture on harmful effects of alcohol abolished The post Cellar-door sales in Sweden: compulsory lecture on harmful effects of alcohol abolished was originally published on BKWine Magazine and written by Per Karlsson . Peeved
Work had me in Glasgow for a few days earlier this month, a city I had never been drinking in before, so was pleased to get it some way ticked off, though far from comprehensively, I'm sure. I was based on the western edge of the city centre, where there were a few noteworthy pubs (thanks Rob !) within easy reach. The State, for example, is a pleasant bit of dark wood and brass Victoriana. The five cask ales had nothing of Scottish interest: Almasty's Green Pale Ale was as close as it got, Newcastle being nearly Scotland. Ben Nevis 2003 (WhiskyNerds)
The WhiskyNerds have been quiet in the past couple of years. The last I know of was a French Brandy and a Secret Islay but that was back in 2023 already. I think it's simple: their bar stays high, so if nothing crosses their path, they don't have to bottle anything. Now they're back with a Ben Nevis 2003 . A year that we have never tried before, as far as I know. There's only a dozen of releases in any case.
