Quarantacinque cantine, oltre […] The post Lugana Armonie Senza Tempo: quando un bianco del Garda ti sorprende davvero appeared first on Decanto - Giornale di vino | Migliori vini e cantine da visitare .

5 things wine lovers still misunderstand about Romagna sangiovese
Romagna, on the Adriatic sea coast in Italy, is staging a wine revolution. Moving far beyond its old reputation for easy-drinking tavern reds, they are developing a reputation for complex and original reds from the sangiovese grape, Romagna Sangiovese. Central to the revival is their development of regional denominations and identities for the wines with […] Continue reading: 5 things wine lovers still misunderstand about Romagna sangiovese The post 5 things wine lovers still misunderstand about Romagna sangiovese was originally published on BKWine Magazine and written by Jeanne Peixian Qiao . InvecchiatIGP: I Vigneri – Vinupetra Etna Doc 2006

Koopers Family Barrel Reserve Rye
I’d like to thank the Texas Whiskey Festival, Koopers Whiskey, and their PR partners for providing this sample with no strings attached. Bonus post time again! We’ll probably be having these for a while as I work through a massive sample backlog. Tonight’s is another winner from the Texas Whiskey Festival, this time the winner of the Rye — Must-Try Bottles category. Koopers Family Barrel Reserve Rye is a mixture of four- and seven-year-old rye whiskeys that are then put into used bourbon barrels for finishing. Before bottling, toasted oak staves are added to those barrels as a final step. It is bottled at barrel proof and is available on the Koopers Whiskey website for $65 per bottle. Let’s see how it tastes. Koopers Family Barrel Reserve Rye Purchase Info: This sample was provided at no charge for review purposes. It is available on the Kooper's Whiskey website for $65 per bottle. Price per Drink (50 mL): $4.33 Nose: Sweet berries, mint, vanilla, cedar, and oak. Mouth: Spicy, with not

Wine Review: Exploring Trentino-Alto Adige
I’m tasting a classic of Trentino-Alto Adige along with a grape variety that’s far less common there. Peter Zemmer Schiava: A Red Wine to Sip Chilled
We may not have quite reached the summer equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, but summer weather is definitely here. Summer Stout Tap Takeover at River North Brewery: Denver's Celebration of Dark Beer
At most breweries, stout season comes and goes with the weather. The temperatures rise, the patio fills up, and the focus shifts entirely to lighter styles built for summer drinking. While we love a crisp lager or easy drinking ale as much as anyone, we've never believed the changing seasons mean dark beer should disappear from the tap list. That's why we're excited to introduce the first ever Summer Stout Tap Takeover at River North Brewery on Saturday, June 20. Inspired by our annual Super...
