2022 Smith-Madrone Cabernet Sauvignon: Cabernet for a Special Birthday
On May 15, Stu and Charlie Smith, along with François Bugué, the Smiths’ associate winemaker, celebrated Smith-Madrone Vineyard & Winery’s 55th birthday. The celebration marked Stu’s signing of the paperwork in 1971 to acquire the Spring Mountain property that is home to Smith-Madrone’s vineyards and winery. Stu and Charlie started planting the vineyard the next year and their first vintage was […] The post 2022 Smith-Madrone Cabernet Sauvignon: Cabernet for a Special Birthday appeared first on Pull That Cork .

Napa Winery With Several 100-Point Red Wines Releases Promising White Wine

The last freakin’ article on the Judgment of Paris (again)
So, it's the 50th anniversary of the Judgment of Paris today. For those who don't know of it, but still drink wine, this probably means that you're a GenXer or younger as even the oldest of us couldn't legally drink when this tasting event came to pass that supposedly put California on the map and gave the French a spanking. Obnoxious, In a Good Way, Part 2 (More from Del Dotto Vineyards)
Remember when I kind of wanted to hate that big-ass Napa Cab from Del Dotto Vineyards? Well, there’s now a sequel to that story. Not too long ago, Shannon and I managed to escape the confines of our typical (yet blissful!) domestic scenario for a date night, and once again I decided to indulge her […] Source

From Red Carpet to Red Wines: Frank Family Vineyards’ Hollywood Roots
At Frank Family Vineyards, storytelling has always been at the heart of the experience.
