Sojourn Cellars Vertical Tasting

Sojourn Cellars makes some incredible, cellar-worthy Pinots and Chards. Last Saturday I descended upon Sojourn Cellars in downtown Sonoma. It had been several years since I made my visit to taste some of the outstanding Pinots and Chards from this region. Sojourn Celalrs is under new ownership and we talked about the approach to wines. The wines have been remarkably consistent and they show terrific aging potential. The winery dates back to 2001 when two tennis friends–Craig Haserot and Erich Bradley–who shared a passion for two things: great wine and tennis. With Erich’s experience as an Assistant Winemaker at Arrowood Winery, the two developed a plan to produce small bottlings of Cabernet Sauvignon from outstanding vineyard sources. They began with a hundred cases of Cabernet Sauvignon that they sold to friends and family. Today they produce more than different wines and have customers worldwide.
